Maya Gefen is a Quality Projects Manager at Gsap with over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She is a recognized expert in cleaning validation, process validation, and compliance with international regulatory requirements. Maya has successfully managed complex quality projects for leading pharmaceutical and medical device companies, including CTS Industries, Rotem Industries, Dr. Fischer, Trima, BTG, Stratasys, and Equashield.

Prior to joining Gsap, Maya served for 28 years at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, where she held senior QA leadership roles. Her responsibilities included managing cleaning and process validation in both sterile/aseptic and OSD production, leading regulatory strategies for new product launches, overseeing change control, and ensuring inspection readiness. She has extensive experience in investigations, CAPAs, supplier audits, and preparation of Product Quality Reviews (PQRs/APRs).

Maya holds an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University in Russia and is fluent in Hebrew, English, and Russian
